ABOUT THIS BOOK

This book The Proud of Earth is a gem which needs not only to he preserved, but also to be available to the general public of this day. It was written by Clem and self-published in 1963 and should prove entrancing to all readers, now, and in the years to come. Written out of a mind fertile and lucid back then, that mind is no less clear and observant today. There is a charm about it which caught me, and I thought it would be a shame for it to he withheld from the reading public.
